Communication in the workplace should be a two way thing. From you to the staff or employees and from them to you. This is where open communication comes in.There are a lot of benefits that can be derived from this. This is why as an employer you need to ensure that there's room for open communication

When there's open communication in the workplace employees are comfortable with talking to the employers about all their questions and concerns and on a regular basis too. The truth is that no man is an island you can use the feedback from staff which would be swiftly done by staff to grow the workplace

So open communication should be a must at the workplace to get the needed information from others.

The truth is that as with everything in life, there should be a balance between it all. For some staff, open communication means that they leverage that opportunity to disrespect their bosses. You have to make sure that you are accessible as a business leader and also firm when you need to be. I am pro open communication in the workplace. It helps to build synergy and instructions are passed and carried out more effectively when open communication is practiced.
