Accounting ethics is the set of guidelines that govern the accounting profession. It includes the concepts, values and norms that define ethical behavior in an accountant's career and personal life.

Diligence - Accountants should always strive to achieve as much success as possible with their clients' financial information while working efficiently and productively within deadlines set by authorities such as government bodies, auditors etc..
