A healthy rate of loss is around 1-2lb’s per week. It’s not recommended to lose weight any quicker than this as it’s likely not sustainable and you’ll be losing muscle, not just fat! ⁣

For reference; the research shows that 1lb of fat contains c.3500 calories, so if you eat 3500 calories less across the week than what you need to maintain your weight, you will lose 1lb per week! 🙌🏻⁣

I’ll do another post on working out your maintenance & deficit calories.
