Betel leaves (called Paan in India) are slightly astringent in eating. People who are fond of eating paan(betel leaves) eat betel nut, catechu, lime and many other things mixed in it. Generally, eating betel is counted in bad habits, but like everything else, there are some benefits of eating basil seeds in betel leaves.

1. Aids in Digestion-
Paan food helps in digestion. By adding basil seeds in it, it works to make saliva by activating the salivary gland. Which works to break the food into small pieces? Chewing basil seeds in betel leaves is very beneficial for people suffering from constipation. It is also helpful in curing gastric ulcer.

5. Increases arousal-
Betel leaves are also helpful in increasing sexual arousal. Betel leaves are used to make married life happy.
