So many students get into debts because of their school bills, not as if they enjoy the debts, just that sometimes their parents can't afford the school bills at that particular time, so they'll have no option but to look for another source to settle the urgent bill, and this way leads to debts.

As a student, what are the 6 potential ways to address this situation?

The student debt crisis is a complex issue with no single solution, but there are several potential ways to address it:

INCOME-DRIVEN REPAYMENT PLANS: The government offers several income-driven repayment plans that cap your monthly loan payments based on your income. These plans can help make student loan payments more manageable for those struggling with debt.

LOAN FORGIVENESS PROGRAMS: There are various loan forgiveness programs available for public service workers, teachers, and other specific professions.

REFINANCING: Borrowers can refinance their student loans to lower their interest rates and monthly payments.

FREE COLLEGE EDUCATION: Some countries and states have implemented free college education programs, which can help reduce the burden of student debt for future generations of students. Here in my country, student don't really get into all this debts because our government has helped us with free education programs.

BETTER FINANCIAL EDUCATION: By educating students about the costs and consequences of taking out student loans, they can make informed decisions about borrowing and managing their debt.

REGULATING FOR-PROFIT COLLEGES: Some for-profit colleges have been criticized for leaving their students with high levels of debt and poor job prospects. Regulating these institutions and providing better consumer protection can help prevent future generations of students from falling into similar debt traps.

It's important to note that addressing the student debt crisis will likely require a combination of these solutions and a commitment from both the government and private sector to provide more affordable education opportunities.
