Health insurance is a type of insurance that provides coverage for medical costs, including hospital costs, surgery costs and medicines, to the insured. When someone has a health insurance policy, all health costs will automatically be transferred to the insurance company. However, unfortunately in practice, not all types of diseases can be covered by insurance, there are several types of diseases that are not covered by insurance companies as follows:

1. Congenital Disease
Congenital disease is a disease caused by hereditary factors or suffered from birth.

2. Rare Disease
Diseases that are rare or not yet known by medicine, which may be caused by genetic factors, etc.

3, Critical Illness
Critical illnesses such as cancer, stroke, kidney disease, etc., are types of illnesses that require intensive care, so many insurance companies refuse to cover these illnesses.

4, Psychological Illness
Many insurance companies are unwilling to cover psychological illnesses such as stress, depression, psychosis and drug addiction.

5. Diseases resulting from epidemics or disasters
Although initially many insurance companies rejected diseases caused by epidemics which could spread quickly but over time
Covid-19 many insurance companies are willing to provide protection benefits for patients infected with SARS-CoV-2

6. HIV/AIDS
HIV/AIDS is included in the list of diseases that are not covered by health insurance.

Health insurance rocks for covering a bunch, but it stinks when they miss stuff like rare diseases and HIV. Treating those can be crazy expensive, so it's a bummer they're often not covered. It's like, we gotta push for better coverage 'cause everyone deserves a shot at good health without breaking the bank.
