You already know how tough dieting and attempting to lose weight can be. You're probably looking for some new tips and tricks to help you get through your day-to-day life and for good reason!

But if you've been following the same old rules for weight loss forever, then you might be doing yourself more harm than good. Here are six diet rules that you should probably break:

1. You can have a drinks with dinner if you want

2. You can have one piece of fruit after a meal

3. You can eat healthy until midnight and then binge on pizza in bed that night

4. Eating out occasionally is OK (but not too often).

5. Don't worry about calories focus on nutrients instead!

6. It's okay to skip breakfast if you're really hungry or just plain don't like it
