Suppliers are the bedrock of any progressive business because they are ones that get to give the business the product boost it needs. When once you don't have the needed products by customers in the market then you are setting yourself up for a downfall.

So you need to always have suppliers be nearer to you than anything else in your business. So what are the reasons that will make suppliers boycott your business

1.You are heavy on debt: When suppliers know you are owing their company heavily. They will boycott your business.

2.You hardly make enough sales to warrant their service. Companies always need businesses that get their products in large quantities

3. unfriendly attitude: You have attitude that isn't business like. you hardly communication and show appreciate for their service. you need to always be in good rapport with your suppliers

4.The business is in its final stage: Suppliers can sense when a business is about to collapse and they will boycott suppling ti such a business.

What do you think?

I totally disagree with you on point 1 because the delay between buying merchandise and selling it let the company to lack funds during the whole year means even with huge debts you will pay them in several months while you generate revenues. Your point 1 could be correct if the company is no longer generating sales.

There are argument that looks good in theory but in practise it isn't realistic. Are you saying that if one company is owing your manufacturing company thousands of dollars you would still be suppling them with your products, how realistic is that.

That's why I emphasized on heavily owing it isn't about just some few dollars that can be carried forward but big money that have dig a big hole in the supplying company account.

In reality any company or business that owes heavily without making the necessary plan to start paying back will be boycotted by the suppliers untill they begin to pay their money. Nobody will want you to come and run down their company because they are supplying you their products

This is same with when they know that your business is going down they will take a break from suppling you their goods unless one can proof that they will bounce back.

Reasons suppliers boycott your business

1. You didn't pay on time. It's a common practice for businesses to wait for the payment from their suppliers in order to avoid any disputes or misunderstandings. However, this can be a mistake if you don't pay on time, especially if you're an online company and can't meet up with your supplier. The last thing you want is to lose a long-term relationship because of bad customer service.

2. You failed to deliver what was promised or overcharged them. Sometimes, suppliers will feel like they were misled by the customer and therefore won't want to deal with them again. This can be caused by any kind of misleading information that led them to believe that they would get something else than what they actually got after ordering it from you, or by charging them more than what was agreed upon at the very beginning of the transaction (and not reimbursed).

3. Your product quality is poor or unreliable, or doesn't meet industry standards (such as ISO). If customers have had complaints about your products previously, then they may refuse to buy from you again unless there's a guarantee that their next purchase will be free from any issues whatsoever.

As a supplier, you want to make sure that your business is in good hands. But sometimes suppliers get tired of being asked for more money, or even worse, bullied by their customers. And when that happens, they will stop buying from you.

If this ever happens to your business, here are some reasons why suppliers might boycott your business:

The customer is making unreasonable demands on you: A supplier might be willing to continue doing business with you if they feel that the demands are reasonable. For example, if the customer is asking for a price increase and no other reason why it should happen (such as inflation), then it could be a sign that there is a problem with their business model or strategy.

The customer is abusive towards staff: If a customer treats their staff badly and intimidates them so much that they don't want to work with that particular supplier any longer, then it's likely that other suppliers will also stop working with them too.

The customer has unreasonable expectations about how things should be done: A supplier may refuse to do business with you if they feel like your expectations are unreasonable or unrealistic.
