Teaching your kids how to both make and save money will help them to become financially independent as teenagers and adults too.

The easiest way to do this is to ensure that you make it both fun and challenging for them. Children get bored easily, so trying to make them reason like adults about money won't work. They can save to buy new toys, but not for a new book.

You can use these toys to make them earn money. If they live in a community were other children don't have it, they can rent it out for low fees which they save.

Children in my community make snacks which they sell. Depending on what it is, they can make up to $1 each day

You can also engage them in your own business and pay them a small token for tasks they complete successfully. This can also apply to house chores and even school work.
