Electricity has always been the problem in nigeria, you can start a business of alternative power source which will be very lucrative in a place like Nigeria because electricity power is not stable. Under this idea, you can start selling
Generator, solar and so on

Generator:- generator is the most common alternative electricity power source in nigeria today, because it is cheaper than others. And it very easy to get without costing much more, so if you invest in it, you will surely make a lot of profits.

Solar:- nowadays, people are considering solar energy because the company making has started making the smaller ones which is sometimes called “economy size”. If you sell this, you will surely attract customers because it doesn’t make noise like generator.

This is a good business idea but at the same time, I don’t agree with it. It’s like making money out of people’s discomfort, if you invest your money in businesses like this, you would never wish or pray that the government should correct the instability of the electricity power

I don't agree with you here. Necessity they say is the mother of invention. Also, to make money one needs to solve a problem. So, if one is able to introduce what can solve the Nigerian problem of lack of electricity then so do. If in the future the Nigerian government is able to correct this, then fine, you can move on to other business ideas or try to solve other problems. There will always be problems to solve whether you like to hear this or not. The world is very dynamic. Once upon a time we didn't have computers but now nearly everybody has one. And as I see it, the government may not be able to solve this electricity problem because they've sunk in so much money already but to no avail. If there is a way individuals can solve the problem, then why not?

The solar panel has been here for many years. I have been monitoring the solar power business because I am interested to be a retailer that we can install in the homes. However, the solar energy system is not cost effective. You spend for the installation that you can recoup your investment after 10 years. There is also the maintenance cost and the battery too is very expensive.

this does sound like a promising idea
