One of the biggest mistakes I see entrepreneurs make is not having a clear vision in mind, and then not executing their plan. This can lead to confusion, indecision, and frustration.
I’ve written about this many times before — like this post on how to avoid common business mistakes. But it’s important to remember that all businesses are made up of people, so you need to think about how you can improve your business processes so that everyone involved feels like they’re getting what they need from the company.
1) Don’t get stuck on one product or service. You need multiple revenue streams so that you have something new every year or two (or three).
2) Consider hiring someone else to help with marketing, sales and customer service. Or consider outsourcing all those things altogether.
3) Keep track of all the money coming into your business so that you know where it's going and why it's happening. If something doesn't make sense, change it!
