One problem you will faced as a manager in the workplace is the issue of resistance to change by employees. The thing is that some humans finds it difficult to adapt to changes but if it is for the well being of the workbenvironment then there's no two ways about it. There change must be effected so how do you manage this:
Own the changes. , you must own the change yourself by showing the example on how you want it done.. ...
Encourage a supportive work environment by not being too strict. Keep urging them to adapt to the change.
Explain what's change will achieve for everyone and explain why the change need to be adopted by everyone.The employees needs to see reasons to adopt the change very fast
Listen deeply and empathetically to the employees. You need to follow things gradually with the employees. Allow the change to be at their pace
