Housing scam is one of the easier ways that scammers or Fraudsters make quick money. They are always ignorant people that fall victims to their scam But you need to know how to easily spot them to avoid falling for them.

Housing scammers want you to pay for a house you are yet to see.

The scammers want you to pay in cash, this is to avoid you having concrete evidence for the payment

They are hesitant to let you see or meet the landlord in person. This is because they are trying to run with your money

They have too-good-to-be-true rent rates and they use high-pressure sales tactics. So that you pay quickly

The Golden Rule, if it's sound and bucks like a duck it's probably a duck, so whenever you're approached with such ideas pay attention and observe closely, most of these people are trying to activate your greediness and it's a matter of yielding to your greed or not, we all know what a great housing offer is and vice versa.

Any offer that seem unrealistic is mostly bogus and it's engineered that way to take money from, there are a lot real estate companies In your cities that you can visit in person and make enquiries about a house and you can stay away from scams this way.
