A flour mill is basically a business that is involved with production of flour. They take cereals and possibly, tubers and process them into flour that are used as food directly or processed into foods like bread. A flour mill primarily has it's own specific challenges that needs to be navigated somehow by the operators of such business. Amongst them are

1) Sourcing: It is always difficult for a flour mill to get a consistent all year round supply of grains and crops that they would use for their flour production given that some grains and crops are seasonal. To navigate this, a typical flour mill has to have network of suppliers in every part of the country it operates in.

2) Storage: One of the challenges a flour mill would likely face is storage since most crops and grains would need to be procured in abundance in it's season and stored for subsequent production. To pull through this limitation, the business has to simulate storage conditions that are suitable for preserving the shelf life of each crop.

3) Sudden breakdown of machines and equipments: Most flour mills face a situation where their machines suddenly break down and halt production. To manage this situation, a flour mill needs to carry out proper maintenance for it's machines while having backup machines for it's operations.
