Thank you for this discussion thread. I have been wondering about a remote work opportunity nd where to find the legitimte ones. I don't like Craigslist. (It's just a personal preference.) I have never tried the sites that you mentioned in your third paragraph. At least not, I know where to look. Data Entry sounds super easy.
