In a normally we use to see an entrepreneur as a person who owns a business.
That is very correct.
But for more understanding. An entrepreneur organizes human and material resources for the production if goods and services
He may be the owner of a public company,or a manager or a board director of a public company.
Wherever he may be, he is the driving force behind the production and movement of goods or services.
The characters you can see in an entrepreneur is that:
(1) He organizes productive resources for the production of goods or services.
(2( He us a risk taker. He ventures where others fear to tread. In taking risk; he may became successful when his business forecast comes through, but fails when his goods or services becomes unacceptable or when he tuns in to misfortune.
(3) He is often a deviant or non- conformist
(4) He is a decision - makers
The important if an entrepreneur is that;
- He has ability to organize resources for production.
This ability is the determining factor of the rate at which development if goods and services takes place in any economy.
- He offers a product or service needed to satisfy wants.
- He provides the money capital, or at least he knows how to go about getting the capital needed for production.
- He controls the actual production process and direct the marketing of the outputs.
This is just little but important of entrepreneur.
