Who does the NDIS inform about a participant's death?

They may include:
  • the participant's family member, their guardian, or their support person
  • their correspondence nominee, plan nominee or child representative
  • the service provider providing support to the participant must be informed immediately because they can't claim funding after the participant's death
  • their estate executor
  • the Commonwealth, State or Territory department or authority
  • their lawyer or legal representative who was supporting the participant
