What to do when there is a surge in the demand

For a business nn increasing demand is a happy situation although it is not always pure positive because sometimes it becomes a happy problem when the business couldn’t handle the orders anymore. Especially in a retailing business particularly a store with shelves for display, think if some shelves would be empty due to lack of supplies. If the problem is delivery issues then that is a lesson to have multiple suppliers so that you have a backup supplier for each item that you sell. Always remember that a buyer cannot wait so the supplies should always be available and ready for delivery in case an order comes up. But when the cause of the lack of supplies is lack of funds then that can really affect the business. It happened to me so I dread to think that a retail store would have no stocks due to lack of funds. When cash flow is bad then the business goes bad.

Business is sweet when the a business man tried all he could do not to run out of stock. You need to watch and study the trend at which your goods are being demanded for and try as much as possible to make sure you always stock your goods even before it finishes. By this, you wont have any trouble with lack or insufficient goods.

That is one beauty of being in business the main reason for opening a business is to make profit so when there is an increase in demand you in turn makes more profit but this will decrease your stock of goods that is why it is advisable for a business owner to keep records of goods being sold and goods which are need to be replaced

The whole idea about a successful retailer is when your customers always find what they need on your shelves all of the time. A very simple logic: if they come today and you don't have and they come again you still do not have the item they need. The tendency that they will come another time is will be very slim hence the gradual fall of the business.
