NXT was created on 24 November 2013 by a developer under the name of BCNext after ICO fundraising in Bitcointalk forum from 28 Sep to 18 Nov 2013.
NXT utilize on proof-of-stake(POS) algorithm. It is written in Java, its script is SHA-256 and Ticker Symbol is also NXT.
