Only definition most people give to CPA Marketing is the cost per action while Affiliating Marketing is said to be Marketing the product of others and get commission. Is this correct? What is the main difference between them?

Both CPA and affiliate marketing are ways for businesses to increase their profits using marketing strategies. People who practice CPA and affiliate marketing, known as publishers, promote a business's product or service and get paid to do so. They can choose the methods they use to drive traffic to the business's website or online store.

The difference between the two is in how they get paid.
Affiliate marketing relies on performance-based compensation, where each publisher gets paid based on the number of sales they're able to make. The more sales they generate, the higher their commission is.

CPA, or cost per action, is a different story. Publishers are compensated when they're able to generate leads that are then converted into new customers from an ad campaign. They don't have to make a sale themselves instead, they get paid for their efforts when a new customer purchases something from an ad campaign that was promoted through their efforts.
