Lots of people are doing one business or the other but don't know basic terminologies used in business. Let's strat with this as this is very necessary when one is looking to seal a deal or secure a contract.

What is a Business Proposal?
A business proposal is a written document from a business organization seeking for patronization from a potential customer. It is very important in persuading a potential customer or organization to buy your products or engage your services.
Here are some of the things your business proposal is suppose to contain and they include;
1. Cover page
2. Table of Content
3. Abstract
4. Acknowledgement of problem
5. Proposed solution to problem
6. What you intend to deliver
7. How long you intend to deliver
8. Your charges

Feel free to add your tips on what you know about Business Proposal

I appreciate the questions asked in this community. They really make me think. Many moons ago before MicroSoft Word was invented, people had to prepare their business proposals from scratch or hire the services of a professional or a lawyer. However, MS Word makes it really easy to prepare a business proposal because they have standardized templates and all you have to do is fill in the blanks. Even if you don't have MS Word you can just Google "free business proposal template", download the document and fill it out. (P.S. If you can afford it, it couldn't hurt to have a business consultant or attorney look it over before submitting it.)

A company without proposal may find it to attract new customers or win a contract. Proposal will tell new client or your contractor about your business and your capacity. It is your proposal that you will use to win the heart of the contractors. If a business owner cannot write this properly, he can hire an expert.
