In managing business, the chief executive officer or manager must put some mechanism in place to guide against corruption, stealing or fraud. If possible for Judas to be among the choosing disciples of Jesus Christ, how much more the staff employed by human being, there will surely be a bad egg among them. The area of contribution is, how can we guide our investment or business against fraud or stealing by the employees? If care is not taken some employees will loot everything in the shop and be displaying empty cartons to the business owner.

to answer your question what way to minimize stealing by employees?

its a good to know that we are now in the 21st century with tech innovations and idea all around the place.
one of the best way to minimize stealing is the use of CCTV. setting up cameras in strategics area of the working environment making sure the workers are not aware. lastly, seriously dealing with anyone caught with the act of stealing should be seriously dealt with.

You can prevent workers from not stealing because when you are able to pay them well and when you are able to motivate and also give them good hospitality,we stop them from stealing most workers till because they do not have enough money for some of their needs or their salary are too low but when you pay work as well this will motivate them to work properly.

according to my own point of view I don't believe there's any way for you to minimise stealing from employees all you have to do is to give them your rules and regulations and any of your employee who goes against your rules and regulation should be replaced. I believe as well experience business man all organisation having rules that said no one must steal from the company's account.

One of the first things you can do is perform a background check on each of your potential employees before they are hired. This might sound like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be a complicated process. It’s important that all of your potential hires are subject to the same test. Do not discriminate based on race, sex, national origin, religion, or anything else. Also make sure that each prospective employee agrees to the background check in writing.

As a business owner and manager, being best friends with your employees is not part of your job description. To gain respect from your employees and avoid being taken advantage of, it’s important that you consistently display your authority and make it clear that you are the boss. That’s not an excuse to be an insufferable dictator. That type of behavior only leads to frustrated employees who show up for work simply to collect their paycheck. They have no interest in the success or failure of your company and care little about performing well.

An employee is someone who is working for a person or company. Employee is part of the company. If you will pay them In time, they will work very carefully and happily. They will not steal anything. They will not create any problem for you because you are giving them rights in time.

Stealing in the workplace is not as common as in other places or setting. Nevertheless, some measures ccan be put in place to prevent or stop the act. Some good measure are given but limited to salary increase to motivate the workers, compensation for exposing stealing, put some stringent punishment for offenders, set security cameras at strategic places to monitor employees etc.

some employees are greedy, selfish and self centered, no matter how you nicely treated them, they will still steal. stealing is in the blood of some people. Have you ever seen staff stealing a something that is of no use to him. I am a living witness to a particular scenario where a staff of my uncle stole DSTV decoder's card in my uncle's office. meanwhile the staff is getting his salary as at when due.

Preventing stealing amongst workers in a business organization is no mean feat. First of all ensure all monetary projects are well accounted for and that monies to be released for projects or to be remitted are all done in the finance department. Ensure all staffs are vetted before employing them. A lot of business owners do not verify the home addresses of their employees and this is very wrong. Ensure you know your employees to their homes so that in the case of a fraud allegation you can know where to trace the employee in question.

Here are some things you can do:
  1. Know your employees.
  2. Supervise employees closely.
  3. Use purchase orders.
  4. Control cash receipts.
  5. Use informal audits.
  6. Install computer security measures.
  7. Track your business checks.
  8. Manage inventory and use security systems.

I think the best way is by having one business account which is the account of the business owner in this way the business owner will be able to keep track of all business transaction going on in the business organisation we should also keep account stock of goods in the business I should be able to notify if goods are stolen by the employees

My wife who is an executive of a bank experienced this issue when he caught one manager under her jurisdiction. The manager was stealing used items in the company's warehouse. It was a point of reporting or not. But based on my advice, my wife reported the case and the manager was forced to resign. He was addicted to the casino.
