To understand its effectiveness, webmasters should oversee and evaluate website performance metrics. Some of these key indicators are page load time, bounce rate, conversion rate, organic traffic, exit pages, mobile performance and error rates. Quick page loading times ensure a good user experience. A high bounce rate could mean that there are underlying issues that need to be looked into whereas low ones imply engagement among users. The conversion rate is used in measuring actions by visitors such as purchases made while organic traffic shows how SEOs have done so far. Exit pages indicate where most people leave from which can help identify potential problems areas while mobile performance data ensures seamless browsing for those on phones or tablets; also error rates ought to be monitored as they can expose technical glitches sites may be experiencing. If you don’t track these metrics then you won't improve your site’s performance.
