I cannot believe that a used appliance is bought for peanuts and then they will clean it and repaint if needed before selling in the used appliances store. It was a good business as admitted by the owner in the shop beside our town market. He said that he buys used electric fans for 50 pesos (that is 1 dollar) when it is broken. He fixes it and sells it for 200 pesos. I have seen the used appliances in his store which are all looking good because he had refurbished most of them. Although he pays a high rent for the store space but he said that business is good so far.
