Running ads is one of the most common ways to earn from blog. However, in order to earn by running ads, you need engagements on your ads. If you have network ads like adsnese and infolinks your visitors need to click on the ads and visit the advertiser sites, and these clicks come from genuine user interest. If you have monetized your site with affiliate ads, your visitors need to purchase the product for you to earn commission. Therefore, the key to earn from ads on your blog is through engagement on ads. So, how do you improve ad engagements?

Publish keyword rich content: If you publish keyword rich content, the ads will be related to your content, when related ads appear on the site, visitors are likely to click on ads.

Share related product ads: When using affiliate ads, only publish ads that are actually related to your content. If you share unrelated product, there will be no engagements on ads.

The best way to improve ad engagement on your blog is to first document how you got your highest ad engagement rates, and then use that information to optimize for other subsequent posts. It sounds like common sense, but often times we get so caught up in a particular post that we forget the larger goal of driving more traffic.

The first method is related to implementing social media ads into your content mix. To take this approach, write posts that are topical in nature – they can be articles with compelling headlines or interviews with industry experts and celebrities who have something interesting or insightful to say about current events. You can also write posts based on what is trending in the marketplace or news. The idea is to write posts that usher in traffic from search engines and social media sites, and then place an ad on the sidebar of your blog that drives more traffic back to the advertiser’s website.

The second method is a little more advanced. When you realize that your blog has thousands of visitors and that a large portion of them are coming from search engines, you will want to make sure your ads are being seen by all those users. To do this, use a service like Google AdSense, which will place ads on the right hand side of your blog.

What you need to improve ads engagement on your blog is copywriting skill. That is. the skill to persuade people to buy something or take actions with the use of power words.

Examples of power words are: secret, discover, proven, skyrocket, top,best,little-known, you and so on. Use those words to write your ads and see the magics.

These words are recommanded either using them in your domain name while purchase or even use them as keywords because they are searched a lot of times in search engines or bid for keywords. Visitors could be future advertisers in your blogs.

If you want to improve ad engagement on your blog, the first thing you need to do is go to Google Keyword Tool. The tool is basically designed for advertisers so that they can choose keywords for their Google ads, the keyword tol will not only show you traffic data, related keywords, keyphrase but also how much money advertisers are paying for the ads targeting different keywords. The data you see on google keyword tool will let you know what keywords you should be using based on the search volume and CPC rate for the keywords. You will have to choose keywords that not only pulls a lot of traffic but also receives a lot of money from the advertisers. If you use these keywords you will be earning more money per clicks (I am talking about adsense ads). Your content also needs to be keyword rich, keyword rich means you need to use 5 percent primary and secondary keywords.

The first step is to keep an eye on your ad engagement. You can use Google Analytics or any other tool that tracks website traffic. Look at the number of clicks your ads get and the amount of time visitors spend on your pages. If you see that visitors aren't clicking on your ads, you can adjust them until they do.

Next, look at your landing pages. Are they converting visitors into leads? Do they have a clear call-to-action so they can move forward in their conversion process? Are these pages optimized with keywords? If not, it's time to optimize them with keywords and add more relevant content that will bring in more traffic from Google's search results pages.

Finally, make sure you're tracking everything from user behavior to landing page optimization so you can see what works best for your blog and for your business goals.

The main reason behind not clicking ads is that they have said such advertisement in another website before yours but rarelly they may see advertisement first time in your platform but this will be common with popular board.
