THE UNIQUE METHOD TO CONTROL YOUR STRESS

There is more tension in our lives now than there has ever been – good stress, poor stress, red stress, blue stress (my little ode to Dr. Seuss). Stress is profoundly detrimental to our body, mind, and soul, regardless of whether it is a true or perceived crisis.

Here are some of my favourite stress-relieving self-care habits:

1. Make it a habit to notice things.

Create a list of everything in your life that doesn't feel right or that you know is causing you stress. When you meet certain individuals, locations, or circumstances, for example.

Will you have a higher level of stress and tension? If you've made your list, consider what you should do about yourself and take action. This list can also be used to foresee stressful circumstances before they occur.

2. Make it a habit to ask for assistance.

You'll need a team to change what you can't change on your own. To manage your list, assemble a team of experts. A coach, first and foremost, will assist you with the big picture and keep you honest about your efforts. A family practitioner who listens to you, a financial advisor, a massage therapist, and an exercise partner are all possible team members.

3. Make it a habit to bounce back.

Consider Plan A to be your go-to self-care technique when stress is under control. Let's say something happens and you're in a stressful situation. Rather than abandoning all self-care when you can't handle it all, prepare a backup plan ahead of time.

4. Make it a habit to unwind.

If you practise calming techniques (breathing, meditation, visualisation, music) on a daily basis, you'll have the resources you need when stressful circumstances arise.

5. Make a habit of expressing gratitude.

Our feelings come from our thoughts, and our thoughts come from our emotions. Keeping things optimistic by remembering what we're thankful for and what we're good at will help. It's not about being afraid to speak up.

6. Make it a habit to create.

Experiment in the kitchen with a new recipe, write a poem, play the drums, make a craft, take a dance class, or do something else that makes you feel creative.

7. Make it a habit to put your belongings away.

Physical clutter can have a significant effect on one's mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Remove something from your home that doesn't make you smile when you look at it. Organize your belongings. All should have a house, and it should be kept there.

8. Make it a habit to breathe.

In a stressful situation, this is the easiest and fastest way to relax. When you concentrate on your breathing, it becomes slower and deeper.

9. Make it a habit to daydream.

Take yourself on a fictitious vacation. Simply close your eyes and leave! Imagine a place you've been or a place you've always wanted to visit.

10. Make it a habit to laugh.

Every day, laugh out loud.

Allowing the stress to get the best of you is a bad idea! Which of these stress-management techniques would you use this week?

Having a good sleep is one of the best way you can use to relieve stress because stress can sometimes be as a result of lack of sleep ,it is advisable that we sleep at least seven to eight hours every night as this can help the body to prepare itsself for the next day activities. Stress can lead to higher blood pressure in most older people.

Laugh is always the best medicine. We need to laugh our sorrow away most time. The fact is that the world is filled with what will always make us sad, we only need ability to keep going by not even minding what the world may throw at us. We need to only gear up.
