Good day folks, trust you are having a great day .

Today,we are going to be discussing the importance of communication to business generally.

However, I would love for us to start by defining communication. What then is this communication?
Communication is simply the tranferance of information from one person to another or one place to another.
This simple act is an important part of business and if not properly done would definitely lead to the downfall or failure of the business.
Several types of communication exists and it is very essential that they are engaged properly in order to yield maximal results.

In a broad sense, we have two forms of communication; Interpersonal communication and intrapersonal form of communication.

Intrapersonal communication is the transfer of information to one's self by one's self. It defines other forms of communication in the process of conducting business as it is important for one to communicate and conceive positive things on his or her mind ..
Once intrapersonal communication is carried out appropriately, the giant step has already been taken in ensuring a smooth interpersonal communication.

When we Talk about interpersonal communication, we are talking about communication with other people. In the conduct of business meeting the needs of people is the main target. That's is why it is important in ensuring smooth run of business

Feel free to comment on this subject of communication

Communication as I understand is the transferring of information, ideas, from one person called the sender to another person called the receiver, and to get back a response from the receiver, and the response is what is called feedback. Communication is not only used in the business world but it is used in the everyday world. Without having an effective communication there will certainly be conflicts both in the business world and even in the circular world. Communication is very essential for life to continue here on earth. As humans we communicate on almost on a daily basis, that is the only way we can get our needs met by ourselves and by the help of others. So communication is always a two way traffic is flows from the send to the receive and when the receiver has gotten a clear picture of what the sender is trying to pass across he or she will relay a response which we regard as feed back. The reality is that communication is very essential in business as without it there would not be business transactions in the first place. So communication sometimes can be personal, interpersonal, and it can be written, verbal and it can be through signs.

Communications in business is focused on the customers and suppliers although there are other people who are involved in the business like the landlord (owner of the building), the utilities company and others including the taxman. In this pandemic era I have seen the evolution of communications. From the landline phone to the mobile phone and now the internet is mostly used. Businesses can rely on their website for the inquiries of prospect and orders of customers. Simply put, communications is the main link of the business to the people concerned. That is why I hate to call customer service that would only make me wait before I could talk to a person. It seems that humans are not in stride with the advancement of technology. There is the line but no one is handling the calls.

Communication is a critical part of doing business. It allows companies to express their needs and desires, relay important information to partners, employees, and customers, and maintain relationships with others in the industry.

Communication can occur through many different channels. The most traditional method is a face-to-face meeting, where two or more people are able to talk directly with each other. These meetings should always be held in a private space so that there aren't any distractions or interruptions. It's also important for all involved parties to be dressed professionally and to turn off their phones and other electronic devices before starting the meeting. This way, everyone will feel more present and focused on the conversation at hand.

It's also common for businesses to communicate via phone calls or video calls if meeting in person isn't an option. In these instances, it's best if the call is scheduled in advance so that all of the relevant parties can be available at the same time. A quick phone call can often be resolved quickly without wasting too much time, but video calls are preferable when it comes to serious negotiations or long conversations about complicated topics that require visual aids or illustrations.

If your company is communicating with someone outside of your organization, email is another great option because it helps
