While you might have trademarked your brand name, some people might still go against that to use your brand name. You don't just have to fold your hands to watch because the user might be taking away your business profit by using your brand name for business. You can go legal to stop the usage of your brand name.

You can use the below three steps

The cease and desist notice: To show you are civil, you can send a cease and desist notice to the violator. Let them know it is your trademarked brand name and state your demand which will be them stopping the use of the name .

Make a police report: Using someone brand name is a criminal offence so you can also file your case with police if the notice you sent was ignored. Let the police be aware for evidence.

file the case as a cilvil case; Then you can go ahead and sue the person if there's no changes for intellectual property theft. Let the person pay for damages and also stop the use if your name.
