Starting a mining rig is not that easy. You have to buy a lot of equipments and hardware in order to start your own mining farm. I have seen many people investing a good amount of money when it comes starting a mining farm. Even I once thought about opening a mining farm. However the following factors stopped me from opening a mining rig:-
1) Rising Difficulty
This was a big factor. Every year, the mining difficulty of cryptocurrencies is rising higher and higher. This means that mining cryptocurrencies is not profitable if you do not buy expensive hardware to meet the minimum requirements of handling the high difficulty levels.
2) High Cost Of Hardware
This is actually the biggest factor because high-quality, expensive hardware is the key when it comes to starting a mining rig. The hardware is just too expensive and it takes a long time to cover the cost when it comes to mining cryptocurrencies.
