I think having a platform that allows people that want to exchange things meet up and do it P2P would really gain traction. But the challenge is how the site would be monetized. The site has to generate revenue for it's running and give some profits to the owner.

If you charge a token for listings on the site, it might make some people indifferent about exchanging things on the platform. Maybe, Ads would be the best way to monetize such sites. I actually believe that the model is something viable that anyone can start and earn from.
