When I was in high school I was enamored with basketball. At my height of only 5 feet 7 inches I tried to excel and I was somehow noticed by some. I was not able to join the big league though because I am not exceptional in my skills. However, what was noticed was my leadership that I was invited to coach a high school team of an exclusive school here. It was fun for me and I was surprised to receive a compensation. After that I coached in the community league and even a girl’s team plus some other teams. In short, I was really a coach as can be seen by people.
If you are above average in playing sports you can perhaps earn money for being a coach. And if the money is good then it can even be your career. I have noticed that most of the basketball coaches here are not really exceptional when they were playing in the pro league. That is food for thought if you have plans for a coaching job.
