Thanks for the write up. Social media is a unique place for news, information, advertisement, networking, etc. Everyone on social media has a particular reason why they are there, some are there with the aim of becoming influencers and make money through it, some are there to market their products or services, some want to connect with people and make friends, while some just want to read news and get information.

Each of the social media platforms are unique and serve different purposes to different people, and people join each one depending on what they intend to achieve on the platform, that's why some people will tell you that they are on Facebook but not on Twitter, that's because Facebook serves the purpose on him being on social media.
