Service Delivery/ Business: Is speed a dimension of quality?

Nowadays, when a client is satisfied that a service can be delivered properly, the next thing they ask is 'when'? or 'how soon'? Being able to deliver a service would give you customers, the speed of the service delivery would retain the customers. In what ways does speed define quality in service business?

1) Quick Response Time: Any business today that can respond to enquiry within a reasonable time frame is considered a quality service business.

2) Speed allows a business to adapt quickly: A business that is defined in doing things within faster timeframes would he able to adapt to market changes and customers preferences allowing them to stay afloat in business.

Businesses should integrate speed as a major determinants of their quality levels. What do you think?
