As we all know, there are a good number of people who do not consider retirement plans not until they are closer to retiring from the jobs like 4-5 years down the line. Also, a couple of reasons also contribute to retiring early such as; health conditions.
In this part of the country that I come from, a lot of government workers take their retirement plans judiciously such that once they land a job, they start saving in different ways through; banks, joint contribution between fellow workers and other secular group. This is a way of ensuring that they leave nothing to chance because even pensions might not be paid immediately after they retire by the government, as it takes some stringnent processes. With this illustration, I've come to realize that retirement is a necessity for them and not a mere hobby both to private and public workers.
