Strategic thinking is a problem-centered, critical study of the future that makes use of a variety of abilities, including critical reflection, brave talks, polarity analysis, using intuition and divergent thinking, and critical reflection. To advance in your career, you must be able to effectively use and exhibit your strategic thinking abilities in addition to developing them.
Developing a skill set in strategic thinking entails:

• comprehending how complex an organization is

• familiarity with strategic roles and obligations

• incorporating knowledge and information from several sources

• adopting a learner's mindset that encourages inquisitive inquiries and challenging dialogues

• spotting hidden patterns

It is more analogous to creating a map while simultaneously exploring the area with a group of individuals who frequently put each other to the test. The bad news is that there are no set amount of steps and predictable routes you can explore while being strategic if you're searching for a linear strategy to follow.
