Recession is here. In order to financially survive during the recession, you will have to opt in for the jobs that are recession proof. Recession proof job means the jobs that are not affected even during the recession and the people doing the job can continue to earn as much as they were earning during the normal times.

Three recession proof jobs

Teaching: You might be surprised to know this but it is true, teaching is a safe job during the recession. People go back to learning in order to gain more skills so that they can earn more even during the recession to cope up with the rising prices and low income.

Healthcare: Have you ever seen a doctor or nurse laid off due to recession? Well, doctors and nurses are always in demand no matter what the economic situation in the country.

Tech: During recession, technology has to still run 24/7, therefore, software engineer, programmers, hardware engineers, etc. are not affected during the recession.

I did not realize teaching was a recession-proof job, but I understand why a teaching job is listed as a recession-proof job. Learning is very essential. Everyone needs to go to school and college to learn and build knowledge and skill. Even when people are unable to get proper education, they will enroll in vocational training. Since there is a demand for learning, there will also be a demand for teachers and trainers. Teachers and trainers will exist as long as students exist and as long as people have the desire to learn something. Interestingly, in order to earn as a teacher, you might not have to be a professional teacher. Everyone is some sort of expert in his/her field and he can teach the same thing to other people and make money. You might be a programmer but not a teacher. You can start teaching programming and make additional money.
