Social media is the best platform to generate traffic, leads, sales and connect with customers. However, for majority of new marketers, social media marketing does not yield any results. Do you know why?

Your social media page does not exactly tell how you (or your product) solve people’s problems how they can benefit by following you or buying your products.

Your content does not speak to your target audience, or you don’t have a target audience as you publish on random topics.

You directly tell people to buy your product.

How do you actually address these issues?

Have a clear focus on your content, make then interesting and engaging.

Use a content format that your audience actually likes (video, infographics, meme, short posts, etc.)

Provide value to your audience by becoming a problem solver.

While staying on your niche, share different ideas related to your niche.

Keep abreast with all social media algorithm changes.

The common reasons why your social media marketing is not working are as follows:

You are not using the right tools. It is important to use the right tools for the job. If you are using a tool that does not provide enough features for your business, then it will be difficult for you to succeed with social media marketing. The main reason why people fail at social media marketing is because they do not use the right tools to do so.

You do not have enough time and resources. This is another reason why people fail at social media marketing. They have no time or resources available to them, which means they are unable to spend enough time on this task. You should also make sure that you have sufficient budget allocated for this project so that you can get more results out of it.

You have poor content creation skills. People who have poor content creation skills will find it very difficult to market their products or services through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter because there are many aspects involved in creating good content for these platforms such as writing quality posts and engaging with other users on these platforms to promote your business or brand name.

There is no doubt that social media is a good place to drag traffic, leads and sale only it is done right. But at the same time social media can be a very boring place to drag traffic and leads if not done right. Some people have been using this social media to drag traffic to their site but have gain nothing because they don't know how to go about it.

Someone just said they are not using the right tools and he is ninety percent right because when you Don have the right to use on social media marketing then you will be like any other person else.. Those who are expert in social media marketing are even using social media to promote other people's products on Divert and are making money out of if too. While those who have little or no idea are not even getting enough traffic to their own site.

If you're not seeing the results you want from your social media marketing, it's important to take a step back and analyze what you're doing wrong. There are a number of common mistakes that businesses make when it comes to social media, and we've outlined some of the most common ones below.

By avoiding these mistakes, you can help to ensure that your social media marketing is more effective and that you see the results you're looking for.

Here are some of the most common reasons why social media marketing might not be working for your business:

1. You're Not Posting Enough

One of the most common mistakes businesses make is not posting enough. To see results from social media, you need to be posting regularly. If you're only posting once in a while, you're not going to see the same results as you would if you were posting multiple times a week.

Try to set a schedule for your social media posts and stick to it. If you're not sure how often you should be posting, start with once or twice a week and then increase the frequency as needed.

2. You're Posting at the Wrong Times

Another common mistake is posting at the wrong times. Just because you're active on social media doesn't mean your audience is. If you want your posts to be seen by as many people as possible, you need to post when your audience is online.

There's no magic formula for determine the best time to post, but there are some general guidelines you can follow. For example, most people are online during the weekdays and early evening, so those are typically good times to post. Saturday mornings and late at night are usually when people are offline, so avoid those times if possible.

It's because with the trending world social media users are increasing and decreasing. One platform is not on the top for a long time. You only focus on one platform, not on the others. One more thing is that you have to target the audience correctly. Google ads will consume vast users of your business.

For a lot of people, social media marketing is all about creating a social page and start posting your content on social media. Those who have some understanding of social media go a little further and also include audience building with social media marketing. While these activities are certainly social media marketing, these are just the basics. These methods do not even scratch the meaning of social media marketing. Social marketing can be done through two methods, one organically, by building followers organically, and generating sales; and two, by spending money to run ads and reaching out to the target audience to generate sales. While the first method is a sustainable method, the second method will stop working the day you stop spending money on ads. However, the first method takes time to generate sales, the second method will start generating sales immediately. The right approach is to build the audience first.
