I agree with you. Also, apart from risking your life. Some of the passengers can be insolent. Some passengers might regard a young man operating a tricycle as worthless. Some might go as far as throwing insults at him if they couldn't agree at a specific price. I knew of a second class-upper graduate who was once called an illiterate by a female passenger because he was operating a tricycle

I can say this is the major challenge in this business. It is very hard to find honest drivers to operate it when you are busy. They would be telling you stories everyday when it's time for them to balance you. But if you are lucky to get an honest man who would be remitting atleast 10 thousand Naira weekly without story (preferably a family man with obligations to meet), Am sure one would be able to make his money back within a year or thereabout.

Tricycle business is very good and look lucrative. Sometime the passanger that Texi will carry that is the one that tricycle will also carry.
Some of them if there is market they will even tell you that they can make money that a civil servant can not make in a months which makes one to know that its a lucrative business.
