[QUOTE="Mikes smithen, post: 302747, member: 90053"] It is absolutely necessary for an individual to operate a business from home and in fact operating a business from home absolutely keeps an individual away from destruction that he or she would likely encounter if he or she had to carry out an outside working job or career. But in as much as starting or operating a business from home is very beneficial and advantageous, we shouldn't be quick to forget that there are also a lot of disadvantages and demerits that applies to an individual's option of starting a business or operating a business from home. In this particular thread we are basically coming to be discussing what factors affect an individual's decision of operating a business from home. But before we dive into the explanation of this factors it is quite important that we understand, why it is quite necessary for one individual to establish a business initially. The establishment of business is absolutely necessary to most individuals because that is basically the way in which they make ends meet for themselves and also the way in which they derive income for their survival. And some might use to establish businesses from home while others may also choose to establish businesses by renting a space for building a space for business activities. With that being said, let us consider factors affecting an individual's decision to operate or establish a business from home: COST: One of the most significant factors that may influence a person's decision is the cost of operating or establishing a business from home. Operating a business from home can be less expensive than renting or purchasing a commercial space. CONVENIENCE: Operating a business from home can provide greater convenience, as it eliminates the need for commuting and allows for more flexibility in scheduling. PROFESSIONAL IMAGE: Depending on the type of business, operating from home may not be seen as a professional image. This may influence an individual's decision to operate from home or establish a separate commercial space. SPACE LIMITATIONS: Depending on the size and type of business, operating from home may be limited by space constraints. This may influence an individual's decision to rent or purchase a separate commercial space. ZONING LAWS: Local zoning laws may restrict or limit the ability to operate certain types of businesses from home. It is important to research and understand these laws before making a decision.
