I am using contraceptive pill. Not only because I want contraception, but more so because I have a condition called PCOS/Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and experiences prolonged periods of no menstruation. My oby-gyne suggested that I take these to normalise my period.
Like a miracle it did work wonders and my period is getting more regular. It also cleared out my acne. On the down side, it seems to be causing my blood pressure to rise. My doctor is now starting to worry about it and wanted me to try other methods of contraception like IUD's and implants but I really prefer these pills as they are more natural and does not require operation.
Has any of you every used this method of contraception? Did it cause any troubles?
