Dairy farm is a business whereby the entrepreneur sets up a place usually a collection center whereby farmers brings in all their dairy products like milk, and they sell them to the processing factories whereby various dairy products like fresh milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter, and other dairy products.

However apart from this business being very profitable, it's also requires a huge amount of capital to start of.
This is simply because there required the business premises that can be used store the milk before they are ferried to the required destination's for processing.
Another thing is the preservation equipment and machinery that is required to keep the milk stay afresh before they are processed. However these machines may include freezers, coolers among others and a reliable source of power like the electricity with a guaranteed back up system like a good generator that can serve the store in cases of power outages.

This business is therefore very profitable and lucrative in my country. This is because there is a large market for the dairy products all over the market including schools, hospitals, organisations, and the members of the public at large that love these products especially the milk and yoghurt. People would tend to take the fresh milk or taking milked tea.

Dairy farming can be profitable if managed effectively. The demand for milk and dairy products remains strong, and as such, dairy farmers have a ready market for their products. The ability to successfully control production costs, improve milk output, and market the products effectively is the key to profitability.

Increasing milk production is one of the ways to increase profitability. This can be done by enhancing the genetics of the cows, raising the caloric content of the feed, and giving the animals the right care and management. Farmers can also benefit from government grants and programs designed to promote dairy farming.
