Digitizing a business means moving most of the business sphere. In today's world of tech, it makes perfect sense to digitize a business. But the question is should a business be fully digitized? Is it right to automate every operations of a business to be performed by computers? I don't think so. Digitizing a business has its own disadvantages.
Today, I worked into an organization to get a service but I was denied access to that service because of a server breakdown. And because the server has broken down, business operations has been halted for the whole day till the server is fixed.
To the customer and patrons of a business, it makes them stranded. To the business itself, they incur losses and pause business operations. I think manual backup should be made available to help a business continue with its operations. Digitizing a business fully is not tenable. That's my opinion.
