Insurance is important consideration when it comes to retirement. Depending on your age retirement you may or not qualify for medicaid, which could leave you in a bit of pickle when it comes to covering the cost of insuring your health.

If you have spouse that will continue working for a year or two you may want to consider the cost of being added to his or her insurance coverage. It will be less expensive than striking out on your own for health insurance coverage, which tends to increase in cost with age and according to health.

Dental insurance is another huge consideration among those approaching retirement age. The cost of actual dental insurance can be quite cost prohibitive but there are other options in the form of discount programs.

Medications are another important consideration when retiring, particularly if you are planning to retire early or period to the traditional retirement age of 65 when medicaid kicks in.

I think this is a very great idea you just stated because a lot of workers getting close to retirement do not really think about this where as it is very important for to take note of this because being insured and claiming it after retirement is a plus because you will still get the chance to claim your retirement payment.

In most cases when you are in service, the company cover the health Bill's and that of your family. When you retire, you are likely to face more health issues due to your age. At this time, you are no longer covered by the company and you may not be able to cater for your health needs because your pay is low. Then, the need for health insurance arises.

Just like the poster above me opined that, most of the time health insurance is usually covered by the company one is working for even including the one of the family. But if the person is unemployed, giug for health insurance is only necessary if they are prone to diseases.

I think it will be very good for every individual to combined insurance together with retirement planning. The insurance you do will cover you when unforeseen circumstances arise unexpectedly. When you combine this together with the retirement plan, it is only certain that retirement will be more glorious for those who prepare adequately.

I think it's best for people to get an insurance policy because if the coverage of risk you would get after retirement ,I think there is an insurance policy called short term life insurance policy where you would be paid the benefits at a specific period of time ,so you get the benefit after retirement

It is always been important for workers to go into insurance very early before their retirement because it can go a very long way for them. This is one of the mistakes people in this part of the world really make because so many of them end up suffering after retiring from their jobs.
