An adult care home is a home that provides adults with a safe space where they can be nurtured and taken care of, this becomes a necessity if an adult doesn't have people to take care of him, this is not a new phenomenon in advanced countries.

To start an adult care home you need to first secure a license with the state government for establishing your business, as this is seen as a delicate business, after securing a license the next thing is to rent an apartment or build a facility.

Next line of action is to hire assistants, these are mostly women, because they have the natural tendency to care for people, then advertising your new facility to the right channel, this can make people skeptical as well, especially in a developing country where people mostly live with their extended families.

Running an adult care facility is more like running a school, you admit people and take care of them, some adults check in for a number of hours in a day, while some move in permanently, especially those that are already very old, you can also read about other business models that are being used in other countries and integrate them into your own business.

Starting an adult care home is a complex undertaking. It requires the right mix of skills, resources and experience, and there are many factors to consider.

The first and most important consideration is finding a site that will be able to support the needs of your clients. If you are considering starting an adult care home in your current location, you need to consider how much space you have available and what zoning laws may apply. If you plan on moving into an existing building, make sure that it meets all of the local fire codes, as well as other safety regulations. You might also want to check with your local health department or zoning board regarding any restrictions on adult homes in your area.

Once you have found the right location for your business and assessed its suitability for the type of work you want to do, start looking at potential employees. You will need people who have experience caring for elderly individuals or those with disabilities, as well as staff members who can provide proper supervision when needed (for example, when a client has been admitted to the hospital).
