The word start-up or startup has been used in English language since 1550. It derives from the word upstart in 1200 which referred to as “up rise” or “come into being suddenly”. Start-up (also startup) as it is being used these days dates back to 1976 Forbes article where the word was used for the first time in order to refer to a budding business. Today, the word startup is used for a business that is yet to be fully established but has a huge potential to achieve exponential growth. Therefore, if you want to start a startup, you will have to remember just one thing, whether the business or the company you want to start has a potential to grow big. Growth does not always mean number of products you are selling, or the revenue you are generating, growth also means the size of the company (company’s market valuation) customers size (number of people using your products or services).
