To start a profitable music blog you have to tap into a market that's not explored yet, there are a lot of genre of music out there.
In Nigeria, Afropop and Hiphop is the thing, and most of these niches have been catered for, but I don't think they're explored, you can look for what they are lacking and come up with a unique selling point based on the lacked features.
Most of the music blogs are full of ads and I think if there's a music blog without ad clutter it'll gain traction quickly especially in Nigeria.
If you're in other parts of the world, then it mustn't be Afropop you can choose other genres that are popular over there.
