Money is money whether you receive in bulk monthly or in tiny bits daily. The truth is that any of these can still be saved up for retiring period. The retirement period is inevitable and as such it is always good to plan towards it. So as a freelancer, it is good to register with a legal retirement trustfund company and start saving with them towards your retirement period.

Getting retirement money isn’t only limited to salary’s earners, even self employed like you now as a freelancer can achieve same. So contact any retirement house nearest to you and starting saving for your retirement period.

It is good you enumerated ways in which a freelancer can save for retirement. A lot of young freelancers don't think about retirement, they would want to enjoy the moment and when they are closing in on their 40s, they would suddenly remember that they have to start saving up for retirement. Most times the expenses freelancers incur are so much that the barely have money left for savings.

This topic is very appropriate for actors and workers in the movie industry. They do not have a regular employment so they should be given a way on how to save for their retirement. I know of so many movie industry workers who beg for donation when they grow old. It is pathetic to hear about their plight that they have no pension.
