Saving for a wedding could be one of the most thrilling yet financially demanding ventures. Below are some steps to enable you save for dream wedding:

1. Come up with an achievable budget: This is where you should determine the total amount that you can afford to spend on your wedding. It will be easier for you to save and remain within your financial boundaries.

2. Have savings as a priority: Make sure that saving for your wedding comes first in line when it comes to financial priorities. Dedicate a certain percentage of your monthly income towards savings for your wedding. You may also consider opening another bank account specifically meant for the purpose of holding all your savings directed towards this day.

3. Make a comprehensive budget: Divide your entire wedding budget into different sections such as venue, caterers, decorations, clothes and photo services among others. Study the average costs associated with each of these categories since they will aid in drawing up your plans regarding the money.

4. Trim down on unwarranted costs: Identify those areas in your monthly budget where you can trim expenses back from it all together or reduce them somewhat. For example, limit dining out, cancel unnecessary subscriptions or choose cheaper entertainment options.

5. Try cost-cutting measures: Look at some cost-saving strategies that may apply on various aspects linked to wedding plans or preparations e.g., reduced rate nuptial products and packages bought online, bargaining with service providers and making own invites & ornaments.
