1. Controlling your blood pressure
Having high blood pressure has a higher risk of having heart disease that is why it is good to always go for medical check-up at least once in a year and go often if you have a high blood pressure
2. Don't be overweight
Those who are obese or have high cholesterol also has a higher risk of having heart disease so we should try and control our weight to lower the risk of having heart disease and make sure to eat a healthy diet

he efforts of heart and stroke charity Croí in preventing death or disability from heart attack and stroke have received a welcome boost this week by way of a generous donation from local home care company Bluebird Care who have become a Croí Patient Education Partner for the coming year. For controlling of high blood pressure it is the best that we try as much as possible to do away with too much salt in our diet because this are the leading causes of high blood pressure, eating too much of fat can lead to being overweight and it is not the best because it is one of the most leading causes of heart disease just as the writer has said.

One can prevent having heart diseases by avoiding to take much carbonated drinks. Avoid smoking, avoid drinking excessive alcohol, If you have high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol, high blood sugar, diabetes or other conditions that put you at greater risk of having heart diseases. Excess weight can lead to conditions that increase the chances of developing heart disease. Having a good sleep can help prevent heart diseases also, eat food with less cholesterol.
