How To Network If Meeting In Person Is Not An Option

Networking is a necessary part of any job hunt. The best way to do it is face-to-face, but that can be hard for some people.

Thankfully, there are a few ways you can network without having to meet up in person.

1. The first way is teleconferencing. This allows you to see your contact on screen and talk with them through video chat software like Skype or FaceTime. You can also use Google Hangouts or other similar programs.

2. The second option is social media. If you have an account on LinkedIn or Facebook, then this is an easy way to connect with people you know who work in the same industry as you do or even just people who share similar interests!

3. Join a club. There are tons of clubs in your city that offer opportunities for social interaction and professional development and they're usually free! Check out your local chamber of commerce for information on local clubs and associations.

4. If none of those options seem like they will work for you, consider reaching out on Twitter or Instagram by tagging someone in the post with their name and asking if they'd be willing to connect with you over social media.
